Love It!
One of my favorite things to do is to introduce someone to Dip n’ Dots.
When people try Dip n’ Dots for the first time they look just like the movies where an alien or robot is posing as a human and tries food for the first time. They chew all funny but are simultaneously delighted.
Whenever I introduce someone to Dip n’ Dots I like to preface it with, “This is called food.”
Listen, I’m just about the biggest Dippin’ Dots (that’s “Dippin’,” not “Dip n’”) fan on the planet. I used to spend school field trips to Riverside (now Six Flags over New England) seeking out Dippin’ Dots carts because I don’t like roller coasters or public pools. The only place I’ve seen them in New York is on the West Side Highway, at the entrance to the Circle Line tour boat.
This franchise does seem to have more appeal than it might seem. Wouldn’t it destroy tasti D lite if it could have its spot on Bedford?
Also, I know I’ve seem it sold at Madame Tussauds on 42nd.
