My off-the-wall $2 bet is that Apple reveals a tighter software connection with Facebook. Or: Facebook presents their latest apps today.
My gut feeling rests upon these things:
The complete absence of a Facebook iPad app or iPad app-related announcements. (It seems strange to me that they had no launch-day offering despite holding a top 50 position on the App Store for two years straight now.)
The iPhone app hasn’t been updated since January despite Facebook itself undergoing a total revamp and numerous policy changes since then.
Strong Facebook support/integration offers the go-to weighted balance to Google’s influence these days.
