It’s extremely rare for a Wikipedia article to hold my attention to the end. Usually I’m digressing/clicking eight degrees of separation away before learning anything at all.
This is the entry for D. B. Cooper, the perpetrator of the only unsolved U.S. airline hijacking. He got his money, released everyone unharmed and parachuted out the back of the 727 never to be seen again.
