I tell them that back when this first iPod came out, if I had, instead of begging my parents for this $399 gift, placed $399 on shares of Apple Computer, Inc., I’d have $17,000 dollars at today’s stock value. You know, instead of a chunky iPod encased in plastic. And then whoever inquired will say, “I meant the display case. What is it?” It is a Cubisto 3-D Frame, available at Amazon. Essentially an easily openable sandwich of thick saran wrap, it’s strong enough to hold a ceramic coffee mug without deforming. (The colors and sizes in stock change often.
