A 400MHz iMac DV from the year 2000. It sits on the carpet in my mostly-empty bedroom at home and I like to lay on my stomach to browse the web with it.
I used to log into this computer remotely from boarding school and use it as a patch relay around the school’s harsh internet filter to access everything blocked and get music and movies.
It has WiFi, a 120GB hard drive, 576MB of RAM and 10.4.11. This is as far as it can go, but it’s still YouTube- and Tumblr-capable. Its computer-name/network-name is ‘Pancake’.
